Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By creating an account, entering a Competition (whether by paid online entry, free postal entry, or using Entry Credits/Draw Credits), or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. The Promoter
1.1 The promoter is THE PEOPLES PRIZES LTD (company number 16966014) trading as The People's Prizes (the "Promoter", "we", "us", "our").

1.3 We operate promotional prize competitions and free draws that award prizes via the Platform in accordance with these Terms and the Competition-specific information shown on the Platform.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
"Competition(s)" means all prize competitions and draws operated by the Promoter on the Platform, including Prize Draws and Instant Win Competitions.
"Prize Draw" means a Competition where winners are selected at random from all valid entries after the Competition closes.
"Instant Win Competition" means a Competition that includes Instant Win prizes (whether alone or alongside a Prize Draw).
"Instant Win Prize" means a prize that is allocated to an entry outcome determined by our systems in accordance with the Competition rules.
"Reveal Animation" means any animation, "reveal", "spin", "scratch", or similar visual effect shown on-screen to present an Instant Win result.
"Promotion Period" means the period during which entries can be accepted for the relevant Competition, as shown on the Competition page.
"Paid Online Entry" means an entry obtained via online payment through the Platform.
"Postal Entry" means an entry obtained via the free postal route described in Clause 4.
"Credit Entry" means an entry obtained by redeeming Entry Credits and/or Draw Credits.
"Contact Details" means the details you provide to us to administer Competitions, contact winners and prevent fraud (see Clause 4.3).
"XP" means a non-cash, non-transferable engagement token earned only through eligible login activity and skill game activity (Clause 8), unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific promotion.
"Entry Credit(s)" means a promotional credit that can be redeemed for entry/entries to a specified Competition where the Platform allows.
"Draw Credit(s)" means a promotional credit that can be redeemed for entry/entries to eligible Competitions, subject to availability and any restrictions shown at the time of redemption.

XP, Entry Credits, Draw Credits, and Site Credit/Store Credit are promotional features only, are non-transferable, have no cash value, are not withdrawable, and cannot be exchanged for money except where required by applicable law.
3. The Competitions (How the Platform Works)
3.1 All Competitions operated by the Promoter on the Platform are referred to as the "Competition(s)". This includes:
- one-off prize draw competitions ("Prize Draws"); and
- competitions featuring Instant Win prizes ("Instant Win Competitions").
3.2 Multiple Competitions may run at the same time. Each Competition will have a specified main prize and may also include Instant Win prizes, all as stated on the relevant Competition page.
3.3 Availability, pricing, entry caps, start/end dates, closing date/time, draw date/time, the number of entries available, and prize details are set at our discretion and will be stated on the Platform for each Competition.
3.4 Free entry route and no paid advantage: Each Competition includes a free entry route and a paid entry route (see Clause 4). Paid entry does not increase the chance of winning compared with a valid free entry. Each valid entry has an equal chance per entry of winning the stated prizes (including Instant Win prizes where applicable), regardless of entry method.
3.5 Each Competition runs for the Promotion Period shown on the Platform and closes when the Promotion Period ends or when all available entries are allocated/sold (whichever occurs first), as stated on the Platform.
3.6 If we close a Competition early (other than due to sell-out), we will announce the revised closing on the Platform and keep the Competition open for at least 3 clear days after the announcement.
3.7 Competition pages and Significant Conditions: The relevant Competition page forms part of these Terms and includes the significant conditions for that Competition (including, as applicable, eligibility restrictions, entry caps, closing date/time, how winners are selected, prize details, and any additional requirements). If there is a conflict between these Terms and a Competition page, the Competition page will take priority only for that Competition.
3.8 Compliance framework: Competitions are intended to operate as promotional prize draws/competitions with a free postal entry route, and are administered in line with applicable UK law and advertising rules (including consumer protection, data protection, and marketing transparency requirements).
4. Eligibility and Undertakings
4.1 Competitions are open only to individuals who are: (a) aged 18 years or over; and (b) resident in the United Kingdom excluding Northern Ireland, unless stated otherwise on the Competition page.
4.2 Employees of the Promoter who are directly involved in the administration, operation, management, marketing, judging, or prize fulfilment of the Competitions are prohibited from entering. Immediate family members and members of the same household of such employees are permitted to enter, provided they are not themselves employed by the Promoter or otherwise professionally involved in the running of the Competitions.
4.3 By entering, you confirm and undertake that you: (a) are 18+; (b) have legal capacity to enter; (c) have read, understood, and accepted these Terms; and (d) will comply with any Competition-specific requirements stated on the Platform.
4.4 You are responsible for ensuring that your participation is lawful in your country of residence. We accept no liability for unlawful participation. If in doubt, you must not enter.
4.5 We reserve the right to refuse entries, suspend accounts, void entries, or disqualify participants where we reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms, fraud, misuse, automation, multiple account abuse, or conduct contrary to the spirit of the Competition.
4.6 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
5. How to Enter
5.1 You may obtain entries to a Competition by:
- online via the Platform by payment (a "Paid Online Entry");
- by free postal entry (a "Postal Entry"); and/or
- by redeeming Entry Credits and/or Draw Credits where the Platform allows (a "Credit Entry").
All entries must be received/processed/validated in accordance with these Terms by the end of the Promotion Period for the relevant Competition.
Account requirements (online and credits)
5.2 To enter online and/or use Entry Credits/Draw Credits you must create an account and provide accurate Contact Details. Account setup may require email verification using a one-time code and/or secure link. We may request additional information to verify identity and eligibility.
Contact Details
5.3 For account registration and online/credit entry, you must provide, and keep up to date: your full name, town/city, and email address (the "Contact Details"). For Postal Entries, winner verification, and prize fulfilment, we may also require additional details including date of birth, postal address, and (where reasonably necessary) telephone number. We use these details to administer Competitions, contact winners, prevent fraud, and publish limited winner details for transparency (see Clause 15).
Paid Online Entries
5.4 Follow the on-screen instructions to select the Competition, choose your number of entries, and complete payment. An entry is only valid once payment is authorised and the entry is confirmed in your account and/or by email.
Free Postal Entries (free entry route)
5.5 To enter for free, send a handwritten entry on a postcard or in a sealed envelope containing:
- your full name;
- your date of birth (DOB);
- your email address;
- your postal address;
- the exact Competition name; and
- a telephone number (optional)
to: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
5.6 Postal entry rules:
- one Postal Entry per postcard/envelope;
- no bulk entries in a single envelope;
- Postal Entries must be posted by the Competition closing date/time shown on the Platform and must be received within 5 working days after that closing date/time (unless the Competition page states a different receipt window). We will also publish a recommended last posting date on the Competition page;
- postage costs are your responsibility;
- Postal Entries have an equal chance per entry of winning as Paid Online Entries;
- if the email address is missing or illegible we may treat the Postal Entry as invalid. If the email address is valid but not linked to an existing Platform account, we may create one or request that you create one for verification and prize fulfilment. A Postal Entry will not be rejected solely because it was not submitted from a pre-existing account.
5.7 No advantage for payment: Paid Online Entries are offered for convenience only. Payment does not increase odds or confer any advantage compared to a valid free entry.
5.8 Entry caps (if any) are shown on the Competition page. We may void entries that exceed stated limits.
5.9 We reserve the right to reject, void, or disqualify incomplete, illegible, late, duplicated, automated, or fraudulent entries, and entries associated with abusive, defamatory, or unlawful conduct.
5.10 Finality / refunds: All entries are final and non-refundable except where we cancel a Competition (see Clause 17) or where a refund is required by law.
Credit Entries (Entry Credits / Draw Credits)
5.11 Where available, you may redeem promotional Entry Credits and/or Draw Credits to obtain entries for eligible Competitions, subject to availability, Platform rules, and any restrictions shown at the time of redemption.
5.12 Credit Entries rules:
- Credits may be granted or earned through promo codes, specific XP Store Events, quests/referrals (where offered), or other promotions, subject to campaign terms shown on the Platform.
- XP may be redeemed for Entry Credits, Draw Credits, Store Credit, and/or other promotional items where the Platform allows, subject to availability and rules shown at the time.
- Some Competitions may be excluded from credit redemption at our discretion for operational or legal reasons.
- Credit Entries are treated as standard entries for all purposes (including allocation of ticket/entry numbers) and are subject to the same entry caps, eligibility checks, and anti-abuse controls as other entries.
- If a Competition is closed, sold out, suspended, or otherwise unavailable, credits may not be redeemable for that Competition. We do not guarantee that any particular Competition will remain available for redemption.
- Credits may be adjusted, reversed, withheld, or removed where we reasonably believe they were granted in error, obtained through abuse, fraud, automation, chargeback activity, or breach of these Terms.
6. Ticket Allocation and Records
6.1 Each valid entry (paid, postal, or credit) will be allocated a ticket number (or equivalent entry identifier) by our systems. Our records are conclusive and binding in relation to the allocation of ticket numbers, the number of valid entries, and Competition results, save for manifest error.
6.2 If a Competition sells out, no further entries will be accepted. The Platform will indicate when a Competition has closed or sold out.
6.3 Postal receipt and processing: Postal Entries are date-stamped on receipt and processed in reasonable time and in the order received. A Postal Entry is treated as entered only once it has been validated and processed by us.
7. Instant Win Competitions (Including Reveal Animations)
7.1 Where a Competition includes Instant Win prizes, Instant Win outcomes are determined by automated systems in accordance with the rules stated on the Competition page. Each valid entry (paid, postal, or credit) has the same chance per entry of winning an Instant Win prize where Instant Wins apply to that Competition.
7.2 Online Instant Wins: For Paid Online Entries, Instant Win results (if applicable) are made available in your account and/or on-screen without undue delay after your entry is confirmed.
7.3 Postal Instant Win reveal credit (processing): For Postal Entries to Competitions that include Instant Wins, we will, as soon as reasonably practicable after receipt and validation, and in any event no later than 72 hours after receipt (excluding weekends/public holidays where processing may occur on the next working day), credit the corresponding Instant Win play/reveal to the Platform account associated with the email address provided (or create an account using that email address where necessary). This process does not change odds and does not impact play or eligibility: each valid entry has the same chance per entry of winning Instant Win prizes, regardless of entry route.
7.4 Availability and rules: Instant Win prizes are subject to availability and the specific rules stated on the Competition page. Instant Win results are final except where we reasonably determine that a technical error affected the outcome.
7.5 Technical issues affecting outcomes: If we reasonably determine that a technical malfunction, data error, or system fault affected an Instant Win outcome, we may void the affected outcome(s) and, at our discretion, provide an alternative prize of equal value, a replacement entry, or a refund for the affected paid entry.
Reveal Animation - presentation only
7.6 Reveal Animation (presentation only): Where the Platform shows a Reveal Animation, this is a user-interface feature only. The Reveal Animation does not determine, influence, or change the outcome of any Instant Win prize, the allocation of any ticket/entry number, or the selection of any Prize Draw winner.
7.7 When Instant Win outcomes are determined: For Competitions that include Instant Wins, the Instant Win result for each valid entry is determined by our systems server-side in accordance with the Competition rules at the point the entry is validated and accepted (or, for Postal Entries, at the point the entry is validated and processed). The Reveal Animation displays the result already determined.
7.8 Equal treatment across entry routes: Paid Online Entries, Postal Entries, and Credit Entries are treated equally for Instant Win purposes: each valid entry has the same chance per entry of receiving an Instant Win prize (where Instant Wins apply), regardless of entry route. The Reveal Animation (or timing of its display) does not confer any advantage.
7.9 Recorded result controls: The recorded result shown in your account (and our audit logs) is the definitive Instant Win outcome.
7.10 Playback issues: If a Reveal Animation fails to load or play due to device, browser, connectivity, or app issues, you can still view your recorded result in your account.
7.11 Fairness and verification: Where Instant Win prizes are offered, we maintain records to verify that Instant Win outcomes were allocated fairly and at random. Where a provably fair method is used, we may publish a commitment hash before the Competition closes and reveal the seed after close so results can be independently verified.
8. Skill Games (Daily 5 and NeuroGrid) - Beta
8.1 Skill games are optional entertainment features on the Platform.
8.2 Beta status: Skill games are provided in beta and may contain bugs, may be unavailable from time to time, and may be modified, suspended, reset, or withdrawn for technical, operational, legal, or fairness reasons.
8.3 We may limit the number of plays/attempts and may change rules, scoring, time limits, or anti-cheat controls at any time.
8.4 No purchase is required to play skill games.
8.5 Separation from winner selection: Skill game performance does not directly determine winners of any Competition. Where XP or rewards are earned from skill games and later redeemed for entries, any resulting entries are treated as standard entries and have an equal chance per entry as any other valid entry, regardless of how the entry was obtained.
8.6 We may void plays, reset progress, remove XP/rewards, or suspend accounts if we reasonably suspect abuse, automation, or manipulation.
9. XP, Levels, Badges & Leaderboards
9.1 XP, levels, badges, and leaderboards are engagement features only. XP has no cash value, is non-transferable, and cannot be sold, assigned, or traded.
9.2 How XP is earned: Unless expressly stated otherwise on the Platform for a specific promotion, XP is awarded only for eligible login activity and skill game activity. Entering paid Competitions does not by itself award XP.
9.3 We may adjust XP values, thresholds, and rules at any time, and may reset or remove XP/levels where required for integrity, operational, or legal reasons.
9.4 Leaderboards may display limited profile information (for example, first name and/or town). You may request removal by contacting support.
9.5 Any attempt to manipulate XP/badges/leaderboards may result in disqualification, removal, or account action.
9.6 Redeeming XP: Where the Platform allows, XP may be redeemed for Entry Credits, Draw Credits, Store Credit and other promotional items (including during XP Store Events), each subject to availability, conversion rates, caps, restrictions, and any expiry windows shown at the time of redemption.
9.7 No guaranteed availability: XP redemptions and XP Store Events are subject to availability and may be changed, paused, or withdrawn. We may cancel or reverse a redemption where we reasonably believe it resulted from error, misuse, fraud, automation, multi-accounting, or breach of these Terms.
10. Rewards Features (Quests, Referrals, Promo Codes, Credits, Site Credit/Store Credit)
10.1 Rewards features are subject to eligibility checks, anti-abuse controls, availability, expiry windows, and campaign-specific rules shown on the Platform.
10.2 Promo code eligibility may include validity dates, minimum spend, eligible draws/baskets, new-user restrictions, per-user or global usage limits, and anti-abuse checks.
10.3 Promo outcomes shown before payment completion are provisional and may be removed if eligibility is not met at settlement, payment fails, or misuse/fraud is detected.
10.4 Some promo campaigns cannot be combined with Site Credit/Store Credit where non-stackable rules apply.
10.5 Only promos explicitly enabled for Site Credit Top-Ups may be used on top-ups. Unless stated otherwise, top-up promos provide discount-only benefit and do not award XP, Entry Credits, or Draw Credits.
10.6 Rewards balances may be adjusted, withheld, reversed, or recovered where granted in error or obtained through abuse, including chargebacks/refunds/disputes.
10.7 We may pause, change, or remove rewards features at any time for technical, operational, legal, security, or fairness reasons.
11. Impact Voting & Updates
11.1 Impact voting is an engagement feature intended to gauge community interest. Votes do not guarantee funding, delivery, or timing of any project.
11.2 Impact updates are provided on a best-efforts basis. Beneficiaries, timings, and amounts may change due to operational or external factors.
11.3 We may remove or adjust votes where we reasonably suspect misuse or automation.
12. Prizes
12.1 Prizes vary between Competitions and are described on the Competition page.
12.2 Third-party vouchers: Voucher prizes are supplied by third parties and are subject to the issuer's terms and conditions, expiry dates, and usage restrictions. We accept no responsibility for third-party provider performance, availability, or restrictions.
12.3 No transfer/exchange: Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash alternative is available unless the prize is cash or unless expressly stated otherwise.
12.4 Substitution: We may substitute a prize with an alternative of equal or greater value where reasonably necessary (e.g., unavailability).
12.5 Delivery/fulfilment: Delivery times, delivery locations, and any fulfilment requirements will be stated on the Competition page.
13. Winner Selection, Verification, and Claim
13.1 Prize Draw winners are selected at random from all valid entries after the Competition closes, using the method stated on the Platform (e.g., computerised RNG). We keep appropriate records/audit logs of winner selection.
13.2 Winners will be contacted using the Contact Details provided. You are responsible for ensuring your Contact Details are accurate and up to date.
13.3 Verification: Winners must provide proof of identity and age (18+) and may be required to confirm eligibility. We may withhold prizes until verification is satisfactorily completed.
13.4 Claim period: If a winner does not respond and/or complete verification within 14 days of notification (or such longer period as we may reasonably allow), we may disqualify the winner and select an alternative winner.
14. Cash Prize Payment and Anti-Fraud Rules
14.1 Where the prize is cash, payment will be made only to the verified personal bank account of the named winner. We will not pay cash prizes to third-party accounts.
14.2 We may request bank account ownership evidence and additional documents to confirm identity and prevent fraud. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in forfeiture and re-allocation of the prize.
14.3 Prizes may not be assigned, gifted, transferred, or sold by the winner prior to receipt.
14.4 Winners are responsible for any personal tax consequences arising from receipt of a prize (if any).
15. Publication of Winner Details (Transparency)
15.1 For transparency and fraud prevention, we will publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place, in line with applicable advertising rules and good practice.
15.2 The information we publish is the winner's first name, surname initial, town/city, and (where relevant) their winning ticket/entry number.
15.3 Winners may object to publication or request reduced information by contacting us within 7 days of winner notification. We will consider such requests. If we are challenged by a regulator or advertising authority, we may still be required to provide winner details and evidence of a valid award.
15.4 Winner details may be published on the Platform and our official social media channels and may remain available for a reasonable period.
16. Personal Data and Privacy
16.1 We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our full Privacy Policy is available on the Platform.
16.2 The lawful basis for publishing limited winner details under Clause 15 is our legitimate interests in transparency, fraud prevention, and maintaining public confidence in Competition integrity.
17. Cancellation, Changes, and Refunds
17.1 We may cancel a Competition at any time. If we cancel a Competition, we will notify entrants and refund paid entry fees (or offer account credit, at our discretion), using the original payment method where possible.
17.2 Except as stated in Clause 17.1 or where required by law, entry fees are non-refundable.
17.3 Site Credit/Store Credit top-up payments are final and non-refundable once processed, except where a refund is required by law.
17.4 If a top-up is refunded, reversed, or disputed, we may reverse associated credited amounts, offset from wallet balance, and/or create a recovery debt balance where wallet funds are insufficient. While recovery debt is outstanding, wallet features may be restricted and future top-ups may first clear that balance.
17.5 Site Credit/Store Credit, Draw Credits, Entry Credits, and XP remain promotional features and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
17.6 We may amend these Terms by publishing an updated version on the Platform. Changes will not affect Competitions you have already entered unless required by law or to correct an obvious error. Where practical, we will notify entrants of material changes.
17.7 Where a Competition is changed (e.g., prize substitution, date changes, operational changes), we will act reasonably and transparently and will update the Competition page accordingly.
18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
18.1 If you believe a payment has been made in error, you must contact us promptly so we can investigate.
18.2 Where an unjustified chargeback or payment reversal is raised, we reserve the right to: (a) suspend or terminate your account; and (b) recover any fees, costs, and losses incurred as a result of the chargeback to the extent permitted by law.
18.3 Where a dispute relates to entries, rewards, or wallet top-ups, we may revoke related benefits, reverse associated balances, and apply recovery controls to the extent permitted by law.
19. Platform Use, Prohibited Conduct, and Indemnity
19.1 You must use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only and in a lawful manner.
19.2 You must not attempt to disrupt the Platform, use bots/automation, scrape, hack, submit abusive content, or engage in conduct we reasonably consider harmful to the Platform, other users, or our reputation.
19.3 You agree to indemnify us against losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or unlawful use of the Platform, to the extent permitted by law.
20. Liability
20.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
20.2 Subject to Clause 20.1, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss and accept no liability for technical failures, lost communications, or entries not received due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
20.3 Our total liability to any entrant shall not exceed the total fees paid by that entrant for the relevant Competition, except where a higher liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
20.4 Consumer fairness: Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or reduce any mandatory consumer rights or protections that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
21. Complaints and General
21.1 Complaints: If you have a complaint about a Competition or the Platform, contact us at support@peoplesprizes.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and resolve them within a reasonable timeframe.
21.2 If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
21.3 No waiver by us shall be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach.
21.4 A person who is not a party to these Terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term.
21.5 Apple/platform disclaimer: Apple Inc. (and other brand owners) are not sponsors of, and are not affiliated with, these Competitions unless expressly stated.
